Tyler has been chosen as an Olympic Torchbearer by both Coca Cola and Samsung!
Coca Cola searched for people " who have a passion for life (specifically sport and active lifestyles, music and dance, the community or the environment and live it to the full, who love doing things for their local community), who are always helping others, have a smile on their face and bring happiness to others. Nominees who are shaping the future of our nation; Nominees who live positively and constantly strive to better themselves. "

Young musician, Tyler Rix first came to the public's attention in 2007 when he appeared in the BBC competition Classical Star, aged 14.
Tyler had started learning the saxophone in primary school lessons aged 9, and a year later his teacher recommended that he audition for the Junior Department of The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Tyler was awarded the Sax.co.uk scholarship for the final five years. In 2008 Tyler went on to win Junior Guildhall's most prestigious annual award, the Lutine Prize.
Tyler was signed by Universal Classics & Jazz and in 2009 he released a classical chillout saxophone album, Ascent, which reached No.1 in the Classical Charts.
Having played in West Ham's Academy, from the age of seven until he was 14, Tyler experienced success on the football field. Aged 17 he was scouted by Premier Models and is represented by Marcus and McCrimmon for acting.
